DescriptionContents of crisps box labelled '1976 Brittany' (now contained in two archival file boxes and original cream-coloured tin), also relating to other non-Breton topics (1865, 1920s-1980s). Contains:

1. Alphabetical research file cards on animals (incl. werewolves) and trees (contained in small cream-coloured tin)

2. Research notebooks; typed ms (loose-paged) of R. Pearse Chope, 'Devonshire Calendar Customs, Part II-- Fixed Festivals', with aletter re. Chope and his manuscripts, from Charles Laycock (?) to 'Mr. Lake', dated 22 Feb. 1938. Also includes the following inscribed booklets: A Variety of Verse by Canon Robert Winnett (1983), and L'Arbre Transparent, by Anne-Marie Désert (friends of TB)

3. Assorted research notes, clippings, offprints, photocopies and correspondence (incl. set from P. Kervennic, and several from Anne-Marie Désert, including some material on Brittany:
