TitleNational Council of Women and related material
DescriptionFolder of correspondence and papers relating to Diana Richmond's invitation to speak at a branch meeting of the National Council of Women in November 1973, which was postponed due to pressure from some local women, but later delivered in a different format on 10 January 1974. The long saga is chronicled in detail, with correspondence between the various NCW branches and head office, an account of Lady Richmond's meeting with the original protester who had the meeting stopped, and the text of her later talk. There are also other papers in the folder, including a letter from Terence Prittie, cuttings from The Tablet, New Middle East and Socialist Worker, CAABU notes and some NCW ephemera.
