Correspondents include cartoonist John Ryan - discussing a cartoon that Diana Richmond questioned - Eamonn Andrews, Frances Gumley, Archdeacon Witton-Davies, Gerard Noel, David Kerr, Elizabeth and Douglas Collard, Nadir Dinshah, Rev. Walter Harrelson, Patrick O'Donovan, Tom Burns, Elnora and John Ferguson (Fellowship of Reconciliation) and Dr M.A. Zaki Badawi. There are files on Archbishop Capucci and Coptic Christianity. Much of the correspondence was written in response to criticisms of Islam that were widespread in the wake of the Iranian revolution.
