DescriptionCorrespondence concerning an appeal to plant trees in Cana in memory of Cardinal Heenan following his death in 1975. The Richmonds and other members of CAABU were concerned at the wording of the appeal and the possibility that the forested area was on land belonging to evicted Palestinians. There are letters to or from Penelope Turing, Violet Barbour, Archbishop George Appleton and Mrs Hay-Will, secretary to the Duke of Norfolk, as well as appeal leaflets for the Cardinal Heenan Memorial Forest and a cutting from the Catholic Herald.
