Part 1: 1896-1949, and Women's Resistance (1970), material published by the Conference Mondiale des Chretiens pour la Palestine/World Conference of Christians for Palestine regarding their second world conference at Canterbury, September 1972, and a report of their Commission on Human Rights, four issues of Bible Lands (1972), Walid Khalidi, 'A Short Reading List on the Palestine Problem and Arab-Israeli Conflict' (Fifth of June Society, 1968), La Conscience Chretienne Face au Probleme Palestinien (1970), Mamdouh Adwan, 'The Old Man and the Land' (1971), Israelis vs Israel (1970), The Judaization of Jerusalem, 1967-1972 (1972), Books on Palestine (1971), a leaflet on Al-Ahram newspaper, Nabel Shaath, 'High Level Palestinian Manpower' (reprint, 1972), various CAABU publications and Annual Report 1971/2, The United Nations and the Palestine Question (Arab League), Christians and Palestine (May 1970), Mahmoud Darwish, 'The Palestinian Chalk Circle', Ghazi Danial, 'One in Three Million. The Story of a Palestinian' (1972), Anis Sayegh, 'The New Israeli Colonies since the 1967 War' (in Arabic, 1967) and a brown envelope (labelled 'Horror Stuff Examples') containing graphic images of dead children killed by military action and a booklet 'Terror in Palestine' with numerous similar illustrations of atrocities and violent death. These, as Lady Richmond's note of 17 November 1972 indicates, were sent unsolicited to the Richmonds and were packaged up to be forwarded to the Quakers 'who would I feel know whether to use or destroy.' There is also a file of papers (EUL MS 115/27/1) containing a list of the box contents, a typed letter from the Womens' Campaign for Soviet Jewry (Leeds), a typed letter from Diana Richmond to Manuela Sykes of CAABU, dated 2 February 1972, and accompanied by extracts from Lady Richmond's letters from Jerusalem during 1946-47, in reponse to a letter from Miss Sykes about collecting material on Jerusalem, as well as some typed extracts from the writings of Holman Hunt and a CAABU information sheet on 'Building in Jerusalem'
