Goodacre of the British Library and describing eleven manuscripts which were brought back from Oman by Andrew Williamson, Director of Antiquities and left at the British Library from 23 September to 1 November 1974. A short note from Goodacre is written on the top corner of the first page, presumably addressed to Wilkinson. The manuscripts are dated from the fourteenth to the nineteenth centuries, and Goodacre's description includes details of physical condition, content, reference sources and potential value for research and publication. |
