- a notebook (c 1887-1892) containing notes on various topics, including litany, music, retreats, holy week, feasts, organs, recipes, and clothing. On the inside cover the name 'S. M. Bonaventura' is inscribed [there is no record of a Sister Mary Bonaventura at Syon Abbey, so this notebook may have belonged to a sister of a different convent];
- Document upon which 'Spiritual joy is an evident mark of grace' is handwritten 16 times and signed 'Elizabeth Knight October ?th 1852' [there is no record of a Sister Elizabeth Knight at Syon Abbey, so this document may have been written by a sister of a different convent];
- a notebook (c 19th century) containing diary entries from 'Oct: 5th' to 'Dec: 8th' of a voyage by sea with two postulants and 'Sr Charlotte' [this diary does not appear to have been written by or concern members of the community at Syon Abbey];
- a commemorative napkin, colourfully printed, entitled 'Souvenir in Commemoration of the King and Queen Visit to the London Hospital, Saturday, July 30th, 1910';
- six envelopes and notes relating to items in the archive [removed from the archive at an unknown date prior to cataloguing];
- two small fragments of 19th century documents. |
