Title | Records relating to Isleworth and Middlesex |
Description | Comprising six deeds relating to land in Isleworth and Middlesex, presumably owned by the community in the 15th century. They include:
EUL MS 389/PROP/1/1/1 - Deed regarding land and tenements in the County of Middlesex and dated 8 February 1468. It is marked with a number '1' in the top left hand corner and two pendant seals, with evidence of two more;
EUL MS 389/PROP/1/1/2 - Deed grating land and tenements Worton in the County of Middlesex and dated 8 February 1468. It is marked with a number '2' in the top left hand corner and four pendant seals are attached;
EUL MS 389/PROP/1/1/3 - Deed granting land in Worton in the County of Middlesex and dated 4 October 1467. It is marked with a number '3' in the top left hand corner and two pendant seals are attached, with evidence of one more;
EUL MS 389/PROP/1/1/4 - Deed granting land and tenements in Worton in the parish of Thistelworth [former name for Isleworth], including references to cultivated and grass land, its boundaries with neighbouring land, a gift of concession and confirmation, inheritance and newly built land in Worton. Dated 24 October 1467. Also includes witnesses' names. It is marked with a number '4' in the top left hand corner;
EUL MS 389/PROP/1/1/5 - Deed granting land and tenements in Worton in the parish of Thistelworth [former name for Isleworth], including references to cultivated and grass land, its boundaries with neighbouring land, a gift of concession and confirmation, inheritance and newly built land in Worton. Also includes witnesses' names. Dated 31 October 1467. It is marked with a number '5' in the top left hand corner and three pendant seals are attached, with evidence of two more;
EUL MS 389/PROP/1/1/6 - Deed granting land from William Creswell to Christopher Preston in the parish of Thistelworth [former name for Isleworth]. Dated 10 January 1482. It is marked with a number '6' in the top left hand corner and three pendant seals are attached.
