The order followed the Rule of St Augustine and predominantly the 'Regula Salvatoris', also known as the Rule of St Saviour or the Rule of the Most Holy Saviour. The 'Regula Salvatoris' was the rule revealed to St Bridget by Christ through a series of visions. |
