| Description | Manuscript and typescript manuscript transcripts of the rule followed by the community, presumably transcribed by the sisters themselves. It includes transcripts of:
- transcript of the 'Rule of St Bridget' [comprising two notebooks];
- transcript of 'The Holy Rule for the Order of St. Bridget - Regula Sanctissimi Salvatoris - with the Explanations of the Rule of the Order and of the Rule of St. Augustine';
- transcript of 'The Rule of St. Saviour commonly called Bridgettine';
- transcript of 'The Rule of the Most Holy Redeemer'; and 'Constitutions ou Regles de Sainte Birgitte Tres-Grande Servante de Dieu [19th century copy in French of a version of the Rule printed in 1635]. It also contains a manuscript version of the rule for novices;
- a file containing a manuscript copy of the constitutions and typescript extracts from the rule;
- a single manuscript page of the rule, possibly 18th Century. |
