1) Envelope containing 81 photographs, printed on 9 cm x 14 cm card with labels written on the back in English and/or Kurdish, including images of refugees, homeless children, peshmerga and POWs, plane wreckage from an Iraqi jet that was shot down, and images from an exhibition in Haji Omran that includes Kurdish protest art.
2)Envelope containing 28 6" x 4" colour prints from the tour of Amouda in Syrian Kurdistan, taken by Miss Novin Hirdan in the late 1980s and showing street scenes, children at play, views of the cemetery and a memorial to 180 people who died in a cinema fire in 1980.
3)Envelope containing 34 6" x 4" colour prints taken by the professional Swedish journalist Ms. Elin Clason in different parts and towns (villages) of Syrian Kurdistan between 1980-1985, showing street scenes, children, family groups, men and women at work, buildings and markets. |
