| Description | This series comprises material relating to arts iniatives concerning fields and the Field Days project. In the June edition of the 'Artists' Newsletter' in 1995, Common Ground announced that they were looking 'to build a register of visual and performing artists, craftspeople and photographers who are interested in expressing and celebrating / documenting the cultural significance of the field in the British landscape'. This series of files includes many responses from artists interested in being involved in the Field Days project and wishing to be added to the register. It also includes papers relating to other arts and culture initiatives relating to fields. |
