Description | Common Ground worked on the Producing the Goods project between 2005 and 2007. The aim of the project was to promote and campaign for local and sustainable production and consumption of goods, including food and drink, markets and market produce, and souvenirs. The main output of the project was the publication of three pamphlets: 'Goods that reflect and sustain locality, nature and culture' (2005), 'Markets and Market Places' (2006), and 'Souvenirs in Particular' (2007). The project was supported by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Environmental Action Fund for sustainable production and consumption. People at Common Ground who worked on this project include Sue Clifford, Angela King and Leana Pooley.
