- papers relating to a joint poetry commission by West Midlands Arts and Common Ground, including copies of poetry by Jill Thomas, Heather Wilson, Nigel D. Moffatt, and Mill Bolt, as well as Eleanor Cooke, whose book 'Who Killed Prees Health?' won the commission (1987-1988);

- papers relating to the objectives of the Trees, Woods and the Green Man project, including project proposals;

- papers relating to the joint commission by the Woodland Trust and Common Ground for sculptors to create 'Country Seats' in woodland, including press clippings, a project brief, project planning papers, press clippings, a report on the 'Country Seats' project, (19871988);

- papers relating to a commission by Rochford District Council, Castle Point District Council, Common Ground, Eastern Arts and the Countryside Commission for craftsman Jim Patridge to develop creative and funcational uses for storm damaged timber (following the Great Storm of 1987), and workshops and training for local people, including a project brief, a project proposal, press releases, leaflets, photographs, newsletters, photographs and correspondence, (1988-1989);

- a proposal to Southern Arts from sculptor Christine Angus;

- papers relating to a poetry commission by the Poetry Society to David Hart;

- and papers relating to a commission by Common Ground, East Sussex Council and South East Arts for sculptor Michael Fairfax to create a woodland sculpture in East Sussex, including a press release, a report by Michael Fairfax, a transcript of an interview between Angela King (Joint Coordinator of Common Ground) and Michael Fairfax, and press clippings (1987).
