DescriptionFrancis Feather collected mainly books by the Powyses (which are inventoried under the relevant family member) and manuscripts by Theodore Francis Powys (which are inventoried in EUL MS 433/TFP/6). He also collected some books by the Powyses circle of friends (inventoried under EUL MS 433/CIRC). This section comprises the remainder of the Feather gift which has not been amagamated with the rest of the collection by the Powys Society.
Admin HistoryMr Francis Feather bequeathed his important collections of Powys books and manuscripts to the Powys Society in perpetuity. In conjunction with the gift of E.E. Bissell, this forms the core of the collection.
