AdminHistoryAfter many post-production difficulties during 'My Ain Folk', 'My Way Home' was created while the BFI and Bill Douglas shared a tense relationship. 'My Way Home' began shooting in 1974 in Scotland with Richard Craven producing. The film's production then went into a two-year hiatus while waiting for Stephen Archibald (Jamie) to age, and during this time Craven left the film. Judy Cottam was chosen as the replacement producer and worked with Douglas until the film's completion in 1978.
Copies of: photograph of Douglas on location in Egypt.
