| AdminHistory | Sir Frank (James) Colyer [1866-1954] was a dental surgeon and museum curator. He was admitted to the Royal College of Surgeons in 1916, and was knighted in 1920 for his services during the First World War. Colyer also curated the Odontological Society's museum collections for fifty years, until they were significantly damaged by bombing in the Second World War, and eventually dismantled in the 1950s. |
