| AdminHistory | Arnold Walter Lawrence [1900-1991] was an archaeologist, and the brother of TE Lawrence. He studied at Oxford University before taking up a readership of classical archaeology at the University of Cambridge. Lawrence also worked as Professor of Archaeology and Director of the National Museum in Ghana, and published 10 works on archaeology, including 'Classical Sculpture' and 'Greek Architecture'. After TE Lawrence's death in 1935, Lawrence became his brother's literary executor. |
