It comprises a list of enslaved people, entitled 'List of Slaves on St Jago & Paisley pens on the 1st. January 1819, including details of each person's name, 'Occupation', and the enslaver's assessment of their 'Condition'; and accounts for the 'Increase and Decrease' of livestock in 1820.

3 Document entitled 'Saint Jago Pen Registry Return 28 June 1820'. It comprises a list of the births and deaths of enslaved people on St Jago Pen, divided into separate lists of 'Males' and 'Females', including details of each person's name, 'Colour' and age, as well as the enslaver's 'Remarks' and a note of the cause of the 'Increase' and 'Decrease' to the number of enslaved people.

It comprises a list of enslaved people, including details of each person's name, age, 'Occupation', and the enslaver's assessment of their 'Condition'; accounts entitled 'Increase and Decrease of the above slaves 1825, including details of the births and deaths of enslaved people; and accounts for the 'Increase and Decrease' of livestock in 1825.

7 Document entitled 'List of Slaves on Saint Jago and Paisley Penns on January 1. 1831'. It comprises a list of enslaved people, divided into separate lists of 'Males' and 'Females', including details of each person's name, age, 'Occupation', and the enslaver's assessment of their 'Condition'; accounts entitled 'Increase and Decrease of slaves on Saint Jago and Paisley Penns for 1830', noting births and deaths of enslaved people; and accounts for the 'Increase and Decrease' of livestock in 1830.

8 Document entitled 'List of Slaves on Saint Jago and Paisley Penns, January 1. 1832'. It comprises a list of enslaved people, divided into separate lists of 'Males' and 'Females' and includes details of each person's name, age, 'Occupation', and the enslaver's assessment of their 'Condition'; accounts entitled 'Increase & Decrease of Slaves on Saint Jago and Paisley Penns for 1831', including detail of deaths of enslaved people and a note of one man named Matthias being sent to the workhouse of enslaved people; and accounts for the 'Increase and Decrease' of livestock in 1831.

9 Document entitled 'List of Slaves on Saint Jago and Paisley Pens on January 1. 1833'. It comprises a list of enslaved people, divided into separate lists of 'Males' and 'Females', including details of each person's name, age, 'Country' [of origin], 'Colour', 'Occupation', and the enslaver's assessment of their 'Condition'. There is a note at the bottom of the first page which states 'No Increase of Decrease for 1832', indicating that there were no births or deaths of enslaved people in that year. The remainder of the document comprises accounts of the 'Increase' and 'Decrease' to livestock in 1832.

10 Document entitled 'List of Apprentices, Increase and Decrease of Stock 1835'. It comprises a 'List of Apprentices [formerly enslaved people who, following the Slavery Abolition Act, had to continue working for their former enslavers under an imposed apprenticeship system without compensation for a set number of years] on St. Jago Pen on 1st July 1856', including each person's name, age, form of work, and remarks about their health. The document also notes the names and ages of three 'Free Children' and the 'Decrease of Apprentices' during 1835, including notes of one death and a 'purchase' of an apprenticeship. On the reverse are accounts of the 'Increase and Decrease of Breeding Stock during the Year 1835'.
