1 Document entitled 'Account Current of Stock on York Plantation', for the 28 December 1803 to the 28 September 1804, and for 28 September to the 28 December 1804. It details the number of each type of livestock on the estate, and the causes of death of those that died within the given period. Notably in August 1804 a ‘working steer’ is listed as having been killed by some of the people enslaved on the Weston Favel Estate.
2 Document entitled 'Account Current of Negroes on York Plantation from the 28 December 1803 to the 28 December 1804'. It details the births and causes of deaths of people enslaved on York Plantation, as well as those that were ‘purchased’ and ‘manumitted’. |
