These include some seventeen B&W photographs by James Baker (London) showing Sheikh Isa during his visit, meeting Trade Secretary Edward Heath, the Duke and Duchess of Glouceste, sailing on a river boat, walking with Sir William Luce along the platform of Tisbury railway station, and looking out from a rooftop over a town (possibly Harlow?), newspaper cuttings about his visit to Buckingham Palace and the Foreign Office, a programme for dinner at the Mansion House (17 July 1964) along with a typed ceremonial for the occasion and a copy of Sheikh Isa's speech, plus guest lists and seating plans for his attendance at the Royal Tournament, and a large colour photograph of Sheikh Isa in the back of a limousine, taken by Barnet Saidman. |
