Description'Puffin book of magic verse' was edited by Causley and was first published in 1974 with illustrations by Barbara Swiderska. It includes the following poems by Causley: 'Colonel Fazackerley' and 'Tom Bone'.

1. Envelope of assorted manuscript notes on Christmas traditions, magic etc., presumably in preparation for compilation of 'The Puffin book of magic verse' (1974). On reverse of papers are the following typescript poems with manuscript revisions: 'My neighbour Mr. Normanton', 'A sailor sat on the watery shore' and 'The Reverend Sabine Baring-Gould' (all published as part of Figgie Hobbin: poems for children (1970), n.d.
