In December Cork writes to Anthony Hicks explaining Christie is upset about surtax demands and also the use of a packet of Player's cigarettes on the dustjacket of the Subscription Edition of her works.
Contains correspondence on Peter and John Mallowan's education and their futures, including letters from Max Mallowan and John Mallowan.
Also contains letters on grant to British School of Archaeology in Iraq stipulating what it should fund and that the source be strictly annonymous. Other correspondence includes statement of securities held by Christie Copyrights Trust for 1969.
