His younger brother John B Sweetman was also at the University College of the South West of England, studying Law. Both were on the University College's Hockey team. P R Sweetman withdrew from his degree as his grandparents were unable to fund his studies further. He passed the Customs and Excise entry exam. After war service, her rejoined HMRC. He was awarded a CBE for public service. He died in 2011, just before his 95th birthday. |
