| Description | A small collection of primarily students' union minute books and papers dating from 1949 to 1994. The materials dating between 1949 and 1978 relate to the Students' Union (also referred to as the Students' Council or Committee) of St Luke's College, a teacher training college in Exeter. Following the merger between the College and the University of Exeter in 1978, the papers dating between 1978 and 1994 relate to the students' union - usually referred to as the 'Guild of Students' - of the University of Exeter as a whole, but many of the papers focus on the St Luke's Campus. The collection also includes several film reels of the Department of Education at St Luke's College (please note: the film reels cannot currently be produced due to lack of playing equipment. We hope to create digital surrogates for the film reels in the future).
