AdminHistory'My Childhood', 'My Ain Folk' and 'My Way Home' were first distributed for home entertainment on VHS by the Scottish Film Council in 1992. The first two films were on one tape with the third on another. Also included in the package was a study guide booklet on how to 'read' the films, edited by Eddie Dick, Dan MacRae, Andrew Noble and Paula Visocchi. The film was largely unavailable until the BFI's re-release of the films on DVD in 2008. Following the films' renewed success, the films were released in North America by Facets Video in 2008 and in France by UFO in 2013.
