Some letters are addressed to Esther Rowe, Daphne du Maurier's housekeeper. Most letters are annotated 'Answered'. Includes several letters relating to Slyfield House in Surrey, where Daphne du Maurier had holidayed as a child; letters from former owners or neighbours of the house Kilmarth; letters about the Menabilly estate; letters about 'Trilby' in the 'Radio Times'; and letters about the estate of Ronald Alexander Armstrong's, Daphne du Maurier's pen friend.
