| Description | Bound typescript draft of the play 'The Seven Deadly Virtues: A Contemporary Immorality by Ronald Duncan'. The draft contains many manuscript annotations and deletions, and includes a replacement character list affixed over the original [now loose in a melinex sleeve]. A rough sketch of the stage layout is on the back of the penultimate page and a sketch of a woman [possibly Princess Chula or Elizabeth Brights] is on the back of the last page. The copy is also marked 'Christopher Brooks' inside the back cover. The address of Marlan Productions has been struck through on the title page, as has that of the Author's Representative Eric Glass, and the address of Mead Farm inserted. Also includes a letter to Martin Landau from George Murcell concerning alterations and directorial suggestions. |
