| AdminHistory | Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald [1900-1981] was a writer and naturalist. He was the editor of The Field magazine from 1938-1946, and wrote a weekly column about cats and dogs in the 'News of the World'. Vesey-Fitzgerald also braodcast radio programmes about country life, including 'Field Fare' and 'There and Back'. He held positions as president of the British Fairground Society, and as vice-president of the Siamese Cat Club of South Africa. |
