Powys references the settling of his libel case out of court and 'Weymouth Sands' being held up for fear of another case being brought against him. Powys says he is expecting a visit from Allen Lane (publisher) to ask for changes to the Weymouth text. Powys discusses a potential move to Dorchester and mentions he and Phyllis have been reading 'The Wings of the Dove' to each other aloud. The envelope is addressed to Abell at 10 Charles Street, New York City, and is stamped. |
