| Description | 'Hands to Dance' is an anthology of Causley's short stories, all connected to his experiences in the Navy during World War Two. It was first published by Carroll and Nicholson in 1951, and a second edition also including the foreword 'A glass of salt water' and the short story/afterword 'Skylark' was published as 'Hands to Dance and Skylark' by Robson Books in 1979.
