| Description | 'Songs for the doctor' was adapted from Causley's music adaptation of Dylan Thomas's 'The doctor and the devils'. It appears to be a revision of the songs for later publication [this does not seem to have happened as planned], and the text was intended to include a history of the unfilmed Thomas filmscript and the first productions of 'The doctor and the devils' in England and Canada.
