  <dc:description>Printed papers issued by the United Nations General Assembly on Oman. The first of these, (Eighteenth Session, Agenda item 78, 8 October 1963) contains 48-pages of documents, maps, letters and draft resolutions, with nine 'annexes' (appendices), the second (Nineteenth Session) is 222 pages long and contains a detailed report and evaluation on the relationship between Britain and Oman, while the third document (Twentieth Session, 17 December 1965) is a photocopy of the UN resolution criticising the British 'colonial presence' in Oman and calling for its withdrawal from the region and consideration given to the question of independence.</dc:description>
