Prints Sets of photographic prints used for display in the Northcott Theatre Foyer and other publicity purposes. Many of the prints and accompanying materials show signs of having been affixed to boards for this purpose. The files often include copies of costume designs, photocopied reviews and other promotional material with the photographs. The photographs are black and white unless otherwise indicated. Prior to 1990 the prints are often annotated with the actors name/ captions on the reverse, post 1990 this becomes less common. Prior to 1988 contact sheets appear to have been stored in a separate run to the prints [see EUL MS 348/PROD/PHOT/1], but after this date they were occasionally stored with the display prints. This is particularly prevalent in the early 1990s. Display photos prior to 1983 were usually board or foam backed and were stored as a separate run at Emmanual Hall [see EUL MS 348/PROD/PHOT/4] 1982-2007
