<dc:title>Prescriptions issued by infirmarian Sister Maria Luzia, c 1861</dc:title>
<dc:description>For 'Sister Winifred' and 'Sister Mary Bridget'. Signed by 'Soror Maria Luzia Infirma' and dated February, April and June '61' [presumably 1861. Sister Maria Luzia is likely to be Sister Mary Lucy Richmond, who professed 27 April 1828 in Lisbon and died 28 January 1879 in Spetisbury; if so, Sister Winifred and Sister Mary Bridget are likely to be Sister Mary Winifred Teresa Smith and Sister Mary Bridget Stringfellow]. These prescriptions appear to have been issued at Syon Abbey in Lisbon, a few months before the community's return to England in August 1861.</dc:description>
