History and research within the community The sub-section comprises material relating to research, primarily of a historical nature, conducted or requested by the community. It includes histories of the community; transcripts of documents relating to the history of Syon; research concerning members of the community of Syon; research concerning the history of the Order of the Most Holy Saviour, also known as the Bridgettine Order or the Bridgettines, including biographies of St Bridget and St Catherine; notes on a variety of historical matters; and correspondence relating to the community's own historical enquiries. c 1650-20th century
