  <dc:title>Relations with other Bridgettine houses</dc:title>
<dc:description>This section comprises material concerning the relations between Syon Abbey and other houses of the Order of the Most Holy Saviour. These include Bridgettine communities in Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (USA), and Venezuela. The Order of the Most Holy Saviour, also known as the Order of St Bridget or the Bridgettines, consists of several 'branches', including a medieval or 'original' branch (to which Syon Abbey belongs) founded by St Bridget of Sweden in 1344, a Spanish branch founded by Marina de Escobar in the 1630s, a Swedish branch founded by St Elizabeth Hesselblad in 1911, and the Brigittine Monks founded by Brother Benedict Kirby in 1976. </dc:description>
