  <dc:description>This series comprises correspondence with other Bridgettine communities belonging to the Order of the Most Holy Saviour from countries including: Belarus (Grodno), Denmark (Maribo), Estonia (Tallinn), Finland (Turku), Germany (Altomünster), India (Bangalore, Marikunnu, Mysore, Nanthoor, Pallavaram, Premagiri, Puttur, Trivandrum and Vellayambalam), Italy (Assisi, Camaldoli, Farfa, Rome), Mexico (Colima, La Paz, Pueblo, San Pedro de los Pinos, Tijuana and Tecate), the Netherlands (Uden and Weert), Norway (Trondheim), Spain (Azcoitia, Lasarte, Paredes de Nava, Valladolid, Vitoria), Sweden (Falun, Djursholm and Vadstena), Switzerland (Corzoneso and Lugano), the United Kingdom (Birmingham, Holywell and Iver Heath), the United States of America (Darien and Oregon), and Venezuela (Bolivar). Several files of correspondence contain photographs, clippings, and lists of Religious in the Bridgettine communities. 

The correspondence has been arranged alphabetically by the name of the religious house. It also includes one series of mixed correspondence from various different Bridgettine houses.

Please note that post 1975 correspondence is closed on a rolling basis of 50 years and closed items do not appear on the online catalogue. </dc:description>
