  <dc:description>Comprising letters of which the majority relate to the two Syon Sisters - Sister Mary Francis and Sister Mary Cecilia - who volunteered to help Mother Elizabeth re-establish the Bridgettine order in Sweden from 1924-1925. Included in the file are letters from  Sister Mary Cecilia, Sister Mary Francis, Mother Elizabeth Hesselblad, the Bishop of Plymouth; and the Apostolic Vicariate for Sweden Johannes Ev. Erik Müller. Letters in this file were sent from various Bridgettine houses, including: Syon Abbey, S. Birgitta's Vilohem in Djursholm;  S. Birgitta's Vilohem in Vadstena; Casa Santa Birgitta in Lugano; Casa di Via delle Isole in Rome; and Monasterio de las Brigidas in Azcoitia.</dc:description>
