  <dc:description>Comprising letters of which the majority relate to the two Syon Sisters - Sister Mary Francis and Sister Mary Cecilia -  who volunteered to help Mother Elizabeth re-establish the Bridgettine order in Sweden from 1924-1925. Several letters are typescript transcripts of originals. Included in the file are letters from the abbess of Syon Abbey, Sister Mary Cecilia, Sister Mary Francis, Mother Elizabeth Hesselblad, the Bishop of Plymouth; and the Apostolic Vicariate for Sweden Johannes Ev. Erik Müller. Also includes one letter from Birgittinessenabdij Maria Hart in Weert, dated 1920. </dc:description>
