  <dc:title>Reel to reel audio tapes</dc:title>
<dc:description>A collection of reel to reel audio tapes in varying diameters. The tapes mainly contain recordings of rehearsals and broadcasts of Duncan's plays, operas and poems set to music. Also includes readings by Ronald Duncan, particularly of 'The Solitudes' and 'Man'. Especially of note is a demonstration tape for a musical theatre adaptation of St Spiv by Jeff Wayne that was never produced, and a recording of Duncan's broadcast on Radio Caroline as Mr X. The archive does not currently hold the equipment to play these tapes, however digital surrogates are available.</dc:description>
