Powys discusses how the philisophical views of authors can come out in their work and references time spent with Abell in Patchin Place (New York). Powys briefly discusses his and Phyllis's [Plater] health and mentions a book being written by Abell. The envelope is addressed to Abell in Long Beach California, and stamped.
