  <dc:description>'Dawn and Dusk' was a collection of 91 poems for children, chosen by Causley from the work of fifty modern poets. The collection included two of Causley's own poems, 'Nursery rhyme of innocence and experience' and 'Innocent's song'. It was published by Brockhampton Press in 1962. Its companion volume 'Rising Early' ('Modern ballads and story poems' in the USA) was published in 1964.

1. File of correspondence, relating to the publication and compilation of 'Dawn and Dusk', mostly from or to Brockhampton Press Ltd. Also includes some notes on which poems/poets were to be included, 1960-1962.

2. File containing correspondence between Causley and contributing poets; correspondence with Brockhampton Press; biographical notes on poets; notes on poems; cuttings from the The Listener, 1961-1962.

3. Two card-backed posters advertising 'Dawn and Dusk', 1962.
