<dc:title>Papers relating to poetry anthology 'The Jupiter Book of Ballads'</dc:title>
<dc:description>'The Jupiter Book of Ballads' was never published under this title. Edited by Causley, it featured the work of the following poets: W H Auden, Patricia Beer, Robert Graves, Thom Gunn, John Heath-Stubbs, Patrick Kavanagh, C Day-Lewis, Christopher Logue, Louis MacNeice, Adrian Mitchell, William Plomer, Louis Simpson and Vernon Watkins. It also included the following poems of Causley: 'Mother, get up and unbar the door' and 'Johnny Alleluia'. It does not appear to be a different version of 'Rising Early' (published in the USA as 'Modern Book of Ballads and Story Poems') or of its companion volume 'Dawn and dusk', although many of the contributors are the same.
