<dc:title>Manuscripts of single poems contained in existing alphabetical sequence according to the 1973 Causley catalogue (deposited in 1970)</dc:title>
<dc:description>This group of poetry manuscripts and typescripts existed as a catalogued sequence arranged in mainly alphabetical order (with the exception of the material for 'Underneath the water), and was encased sequentially in a series of brown envelopes and folders. This sequence of material constitutes the first Causley deposit made to the University of Exeter in 1970, as listed below, based on the 1973 University of Exeter Library list.

These works were originally mainly published in 'Underneath the water' and 'Johnny Alleluia'.

Items 1-5 from the original list are not included in this sequence. See: EUL MS 50a/LIT/1/70, MS 50a/LIT/4/8, MS 50a/LIT/4/9 and MS 50a/LIT/4/10, where a note of their provenance will be made in the catalogue field 'PreviousNumbers'.
