Knight family papers The collection includes Jackson Knight's own papers, including his notes, manuscripts and typescripts for his books, personal documents such as birth certificate etc, some poems, employment documents, correspondence relating to his setting up of the journal 'Erasmus', psychic letters (box 9), offprints of his works, obituaries, and many sequences of correspondence, some of which were returned to Wilson Knight after Jackson's death to assist Wilson in writing Jackson's biography. There are several interesting collections of letters including a group by artist and writer David Jones. Also Cecil Day Lewis, J.B. Priestley, Oliver St. John Gogarty, Prof. Gilbert Murray, Sir Arthur Evans, Sir Maurice Bowra, Prof. George Duckworth, Prod. H.J. Rose, Principal John Murray, J. L. Myers, John Dewar Denniston, Robert Seymour Conway. Also E.V.Rieu. There is also a copy of the biography included in the collection. c 1920-1975
