Community moves to new site in Isleworth in 1431 and is re-enclosed. In 1539, the community is expelled from Isleworth. Return to Isleworth in 1557. From 1559, the community lived in exile in Flanders (Dendermonde, Antwerp, Mishagen, Haamstede and Mechelen). Commnity moves to Rouen, France in 1580. Community moves to Lisbon, Portugal in 1594. Failed attempt at return to England in 1809. Return of Syon Abbey to England in 1861, in Spetisbury, Dorset. Community moves to Chudleigh, Devon in 1887. Community moves to South Brent, Devon in 1925. Community moves to specially designed accomodation in converted stables of Marley House. Syon Abbey closes in 2011.
