| Description | ALS relating to Lady Strangford's nursing of one of Marshall's former patients, Mr Deutsch, who "improved in health in an apparently miraculous manner", travelling then to Naples, & on to Egypt. He had contracted dysentery & eventually died - of cancer of the kidneys. Remarks that she was "selfishly glad not to have been involved at his end, when she could not relieve his suffering. |
