Description | Two boxes of papers relating to Kurdish youth and student movements, containing some 600 documents from organisations such as the Kurdish Students Society in Europe (KSSE) - founded in West Germany in 1956 - and the Association of Kurdistan Students Abroad (AKSA), which split from the KSSE in 1975. Documents include those issued by both the central organisations and their many European branches across Sweden, Germany, the UK, America, USA, Russia, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Hungary and elsewhere, such as press releases, bulletins, newsletters, conference programmes, posters, political protest sheets and publicity material for meetings and other events. |
