1 Document entitled 'Negroes on York Estate from 1st Jan[uar]y 1785 to 31 Decem[be]r 1793'. It includes details for each year between 1785 and 1793 of the number of enslaved people on the estate on 01 January; the number of children born; the number of enslaved people who were 'bought'; the number of enslaved people who died; and the total number of enslaved men, women, boys and girls on the estate.

2 Document entitled 'Account Current of Slaves on York Plantation from the 28th December 1805 to the 28th December 1806'. It includes details of the number of enslaved men, women, boys and girls on the plantation; notes of births on the plantation, including names of mothers and infants; and notes of deaths on the plantation, including the names of those who died and the cause of their deaths.

3 Document entitled 'A List of Slaves on York Estate' (1820), consisting of twelve pages. It comprises an alphabetical list of 321 enslaved men, women and children on York Estate; and an alphabetical list of 67 [free] 'People of Colour on York Estate'. The document includes details of the name, age and 'occupation' of each person, as well as the enslaver's assessment of their 'condition'.
